My fav part of this battle is how each actor really hit their char's personality and comedy style. Carlin was all about the fast, rough, hard hitting delivery. Pryor was the more "stand up" and perform for the audience style (full disclosure, i'm not old enough to have seen much of his), Rivers was both self deprecating and 'stab you with a rusty shank' (if you haven't seen some of her comedy roasts, do yourself a favor and watch them). As for Williams, he was the more jokey, let's be friends and connect with each other style, mixed with his MASSIVE movie catalog as a comic relief.

Joan had great bars, but she wasted so many of them on Cosby, who self-burned, was out, and no threat in this battle. Of course, kicking someone when they were down was entirely in her character, she made a career out of it. Between that, and sure, the nostalgia, I give it to Robin.

To be fair, Joan was the one who drugged him, so even though he was "out," it was only fitting she gloat over him. Carlin was born in Manhattan. But he grew up in a neighborhood of Manhattan called Morningside Heights, which he and his friends called "White Harlem" because it "sounded a lot tougher than its real name.” He attended school in the Bronx for high school but, after three semesters, was expelled from Cardinal Hayes High School at age 15. "Friend Like Me" is so much harder to finish these days. I'm glad they went easy on Robin and let him go last.

I have to say, one of ERB's greatest strengths is the character work... But in this one, they've outdone themselves, especially Lloyd's Robin Williams. It's almost eerie.

Oh man iv been waiting for you to react to this one, was gonna suggest it to. EDIT: Actually Pompeii would be the shortest since he showed up for like 5 seconds before being decapitated by Catherine the Grate. But Cosbey comes up as Second. At least as someone that was gonna rap at least.

22:10 I thought Joan had the best lines because Robin Williams just said the same stuff Joan and Richard already said about themselves self-deprecatingly. Kind of lessens the sting

Shortest appearance in ERB? that honour belongs to Pompey the great as he only had five words before Catherine the great beheaded him. All he said was "What about me Pompey, yeah!". Bill here had several lines more than Pompey.
