Not gonna lie, everytime western rapper or another rapper outside south korea gracefully dissected each of BLACKPINK's member singing and rapping skill, i always personally got legit goosebump at the moment plus when knox mention these girls have that superstars grup vibe. ​@@KnoxHill Definitely, for sure i'm gonna check it. In their new album called "THE ALBUM" i recommended "pretty savage", "crazy over you" and "love to hate me". For the accurate lyric wise you can check the original lyric in spotify rather using color coded lyric in some random youtube chanel, it just sometimes youtube stuff oftenly innacurate in term of lmanual-translation to the lyrics. And i would love to see the same pattern of your "dissected-style'' while breaking down instrumental choices, lyrical-arrangement, melody-switches, rhymes-scheme and moral message toward BP's song for the next reaction. Honestly i really prefer and appreaciate this kind of genuine reaction rather just blindly over hyping BP without trying to understand what their song about, my personal reason said these things is mainly because these girls is already famous enough (needless to overhyping their popularity) but sometimes they kept constantly getting hatred in daily basis on any social media/online platform/news article just to be called: 1. Overrated, 2. Overreacted (majority did by random youtube reactor) 3. Overfanaticism by their fandom (which is fine by me, i mean fans just do whatever they could do to support and protect their fav artists and more dirty-labelling that too much to explain if i keep going, and all of those shits happens for non-logical reason ever. Those kind of cold statements always came out from ignorant general music listener and clueless music-youtube-reactor. The fact is the more you got interested into BP's world then you'll see the same cruel statement again and again until it became a normal thing just to hate them or over criticism to the entire BP's musicality in such careless way. i wouldn't be surprise anymore If by any chance you'll read some toxic comments on your reaction towards BP. That's why in my opinion, their musical style/taste was always lack of in-deep recognition by other musician globally plus nowadays they always got under-appreciated as an artist in music industry . Trust me, the more you know about K-POP the more you'll see that K-POP environment is one of the tough-competitive music entertainment out there filled with random fan-wars, battle of local music news tv and many more intense stuff which you couldn't even imagine. Last but not least, as a generic advice in reaction stuff, becareful of your word choices if by any moment you unconciously/unplannedly feels want to give some constructive-criticsm while reacting to one of BP's song, i said this cause clearly i hope you wouldn't trigger anybody or even the whole fandom and dealing with some unknown/anonymous immature toxic fans that might be harm your entire chanel someday (as an example: dont try to comparing BP to any other grup especially if certain group came from south korea itself cause you might be making space for some legit new uncontrolable fan-wars).

Did you notice that each singer was not only featured singing but in several scenes when all 4 were dancing that they switched the 2 in front with the 2 in back like they were saying look we can sing too, we're not just here for backup? Not to mention they rapped in English some too.. Never heard kpop til this review and I must say I enjoyed it and can see why it is so popular! Great review!

Yup! I'm not sure if you know, but the kpop industry is actually really interesting! You have to train in dance, vocals, stage presence and rap, not to mention you have to sing and dance complicated dances at the same time without losing your stamina! A lot of people train for even 10 years before becoming a kpop idol! It's definitely not an easy thing to do, and you have to work IMMENSLY hard for it. Not to mention, some Korean netizens are extremely harsh on kpop idols, and they receive constant hate and backlash for little things like not smiling surfing awards shows. Last year we had to beloved idols take their lives because of a lot of hate. Anyways, sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to share some info about the industry :)

Well welcome! Kpop is not like what I have seen from western bands where most members are there for just instruments or backup. In Kpop all members are singing, and dance positions switch often to shift attention to each member. Like the other person said, they have to undergo harsh training, so they are all quite well versed in multiple areas that go into making Kpop. And most songs I know of have English in them. The album that Lovesick Girls is from is actually mostly in English.
