The '..feeling kinda anti-social, gonna blow Chernobyl..' bar is deep. There have been a lot of studies and articles, done just after it happened and ever since, concluding that Chernobyl was a failure of socialism. Even his lyrics that seem to just have surface meaning are layered. Then he follows the line with, '..Going off the grid..', I prob don't need to highlight how it affected the Russian power grid at the time. Love the hook on this one. Oh, and also, slipped the Boris Johnson pic in, having a pig head. Hinting at what it's meaning is to Ren, finally ? Seems it did mean the establishment. Love it.

It sounds like Ren might been looking into the origins of children's songs. in the original Jack and the Beanstalk story, before it was expurgated for kids, Jack's grandmother favours him with the beans because he is "a good bedfellow" to her. He also uses "This Old Man..." in Jenny and Screech. The song originated in Liverpool where there was a huge influx of Irish after the famine. There is evidence that Nick Knack Paddy Whack, might refer to the way Irish peasants were often physically beaten from their homes.

“Kill em with a 4 by 4” - I took to be 4/4 time on the beat, since all of those bits in the video have graphics connected to the lyrics (eg the magician line has cards), and that bit has notes floating around. I also thought it a possible double with a 4x4 - something you could kill someone with and there’s a line that suggests travel (minds gone blank what it is) but that could connect. It was only my 3rd thought it could be a 4”x4” bit of wood.
