I love how Em will sometimes tell you exactly how the progression of his verse is gonna go. He literally activates "beastmode" by saying it then immediately going into a more rapid cadence then states "you about to be out-rhymed" then builds up to that last stretch of crazy rhymes and even faster cadence playing on the rhyming style Chris poked fun at. Bro the 'Rover' scheme was a quadruple: 1) The baseball scheme/lexical 2) Range Rover being shot up scheme/lexical 3) Rover being red as in Red Rover game 4) "Roll over my opponents instead" is a trick dogs do. Awesome review but still a lot that was missed. Chris was already dead when they called him and it was Em dressed like Chris wrapping up Chris's body. He was already dressed like shady for a reason because he was shady. Em confirms in the video he is ahead of all, above everyone and will murder any who tries to be like him. He confirms all this by mimicking the manager with "shhhhh im ahead of you" and the message with video at the end saying chris isnt playing me im playing him because chris is dead already. The reason no one knew where em was in the beginning because he was above, ahead of all and murdering Chris before they could have him play shady as a double.

When he is talking about being “slumped over and A-Rod just hit a homer” I think the slumped over part is about a limp d*** because of steroids in trying to get a good song or just overdoing it period, and it ties into A-Rod because A-Rod is known for using steroids, not once but got caught twice doing it

Never thought of it that way. I took it as a "gay" reference, as in "slumped over" A-rod just "hit a homer" someone slumped or bent over and arod "hitting" a "homer" To hit, smash intercourse, a homer is a sexual act "look it up" But also Arod just hit a homer, homer also means someone bias towards the home team /"mainstream" Everything is a triple or quadruple

I'm a Metalhead and honestly, the only kind of rap I can enjoy and listen to is Lyrical Rap. People assume I just dislike all rap because I hate the modern mainstream auto tune they be playing... But not at all. I love Lyrical shit that takes actual knowledge of rhythms and actual intelligence for the things being said. Also, Lyrical Rap, with the different rap patterns and Flows reminds me of the Genre of metal I Write and Listen to the most in which the Guitars are in alot of cased Low Tuned for those nice Bassy low notes. Very Rhythmic and percussive playing with weird accents, Bouncy Grooves. The genre is usually referred to as Djent/Progressive Metal. A good example would be a song like Monuments - Leviathan. Or their song Celeste, but they have so many great tracks. I actually think you might dig the instrumentals. Also the band Unprocessed, perhaps their song Fear or Abandoned... They have a cleaner sound and They are Groovy and funky as hell. These bands have a style of playing that gives me a similar vibe to lyrical rap in terms of the rhythm... just in a heavy instrumental form. They have a mixture of singing/screaming vocals on the tracks but it'd still get you bouncing to it simply because of the grooves and progression Especially the first riff of Unprocessed - Fear. Fucking awesome rhythmic playing. And for overall songs I'd recommend the band Polaris. All their songs are amazing I'd really recommend checking any of these songs/bands out. And if you're down for it, a reaction video. I know you like to go into detail about the compositions and I think you'd get alot out of these groups :D

Even though nobody cares I just have to point out at 20:17 that its not a 3/3 flow its a 6/8 or a 9/8 flow that gives it that triplet feel

also, "Im the ethos" ie greek word meaning spirit of a culture/era/community. So saying he, "is/embodies the spirit of rap culture or the spirit of the rap era."

Know I’m late but “going up north” is a Michigan saying. I’m from like 45 minutes away from where em lives but from here saying going up north is to the U.P. or to Northern Michigan (above Big Rapids lmao).
@TheRealZewkz4 жыл бұрын
hey Knox, just a FYI eminem going "up north" is a michigan thing, means hes going to the upper peninsula lol

Dude ur vid made this song even better for me... i been a life long fan of Em since i heard Infinite, and caught a glimpse of his skill. but now hes developed the most intricate, masterful & otherworldly combinations of words and syllables like very few in the history of man. U helped uncover so many "easter eggs" puns in this song, I def respect your knowledge and I listened to some of your verses... You got yourself a new fan my dude. Dont change a thing with these vids, great work

When Shady says he’s gonna bear hug a terrier, he’s referring back to the Red Rover and the “when I go ‘roof’ like the Doberman said” line. He’s just basically calling himself a Doberman Pinscher while calling mumble rappers Scottish Terriers. When he does this, he’s basically saying ‘fuck it, let’s take it back to MMLP2. I’m gonna remind y’all who the rap god is.’

soooo many bars between these 2 greats that this track should be immortalized. Something I like that Logic said was "this isnt a diss at the game, it's a gas at the flame", as if to say "use this track as a minimum requirement if you want to be a real artist".
@SCH00NY1253 жыл бұрын
Yo knox apparently the 6 mill line also refers to Joe buddens net worth
@lawsonpayne8474 жыл бұрын
You missed when he said "ruff like what the doberman said" but he said that because it ties with what he said in rap god "doberman pinch to self in the arm to pay homage pupil, it's me." Refering to the dog breed Doberman Pincher
@lawsonpayne8474 жыл бұрын
Also he said terrier because it is the only dog breed that the Soviets would chose as a guard dog over the doberman pinscher 😉😉🙂🙂

A platypus is also extremely venomous and is also the chad of the animal kingdom. There are approximately 10 females for every male platypus cuz they're so competitive they murder each other in droves.

platypus are venomous? wtf? this is the craziest animal fucking ever, just imagining a scaled up version by like 5 feet... i bet it would wipe some dinosaurs out

@@sanadrin8359 yeah they have a sharp stinger on the behind of their feet which they use to defend themselves and all that which is what holds the venom, as an Australian I can tell you that all of us know that
