Ya know, it's so neat .. my family once owned the Spur Motel in San Antonio. (early 1960's) A strangers' bus came through to spend the night .. big ass-thing. It had 'Bob Wills and his Texas Cowboys' written on the side of it. The other day (June 2015) my sister & brother-in-law (musician) got to Fitzgerald's early to see music (mainly this man). So here was another big-ass bus but trying to weave into a small assigned parking space. (Chicago). Back & forth, until they finally parked this sucker; people there trying to help direct it. THIS bus had 'Dale Watson' written on the side of it. And Dale was actually in the driver's seat parking this big-ass thing ! Too funny. ( He DID finally do a good job of parking it). Bravo. What a hoot ! (To think people still travel in these buses I think, was my point). Neat.

Heard this streamed live last summer and so happy to see video of this. Wow, what a performance. And he said he met old Chloe on the square in Knoxville right be fore the show. Certainly this is at the heart of what ol Dale calls "Ameripolitan" music since countryjahas "committed suicide".

I'm glad there's stuff like this on KZbin because you can mention this to people you work with every day and they have no idea what you're talking about and for stuff like this I don't know what I would do because I would just be watching TV...you could spend all night watching tv or this ...your choice. How difficult it was to find stuff like this 20 to 30 years ago. Thank God my parents exposed me to shat I hated as a yute...they did their job. In them days lotsa books and PBS (which I still hate and it should be defunded).
