When dads singing group does an event in Knoxville, the Cas Walker commercial is the most requested song, they often open with it, dad grew up in south Knoxville, he knew Cas.

Now contrast that statement with what stores are doing now. They will fire an employee who trys to stop a shoplifter. I like the put you in the hospital for ten days. Instead of jail. A woman who worked at Lowes for twelve years tried to stop a shoplifter, she was assulted then Lowes fired her. I will never shop at Lowes again.

He was the real deal. Lots of clout and a salty individual. He didn't tolerate a bad check, no matter the amount. I once served a warrant for a bad check written to Cas Walker. It was for a small amount. The Court fees were probably higher than the check amount. He would post your photo and name if you wrote a bad check. America would be a much better place if we had several million more like Cas. The last time I saw him he was driving his old Rambler station wagon. I think that was about 1974.
