Part of this video was shot at Kristen Camp the location with the small brown huts in the video. I actually visited Kenya last year and stayed in this camp. This place is awesome. There is a famous spring nearby. It took us hours driving through the desert to get here but was worth it. We slept outside in the sand one night. Turkana lake is fun. The night experience is so good. By Gods grace I will be moving to Kenya this year to live. Another Jamaican returning home.

The pastoralists communities of Northern kenya includes Turkana of North western kenya, Masaai of south Rift valley, Samburu, Borana, Somali, Rendille and Oromo . Just like Fulani community of Northern Nigeria, Turkana people are found in Four east african countries, In kenya they are called Turkanas,in South sudan they are called Toposa, in Ethiopia they are called Dessanach/Nyang'atom and in Uganda they are called Karamojong and jie . Turkanas are also found in 5 kenyan counties of Turkana, Isiolo, Samburu, Laikipia and Marsabit. The maasai community is also found in both kenya and Tanzania. The Borana are both in Ethiopia wnd kenya. Somali are both in kenya ,somalia and Ethiopia, the current Ethiopia prime minister is a Somali. Oromo are also found in kenya and Ethiopia.

I lived and schooled in Turkana to be precise lorugum .The school is Turkana girls national school lorugum.those camels are not wild they have owners try and steal one that's when you will realize they have owners. Otherwise they live them to graze by their own.
