To answer your question, the movie by itself isn’t actually that bad, it’s when you bring the other movies into the mix it appears that way (I watched them in order from a young age). 3 also has this problem for me, I find 3&4 hard to watch as an adult, if 4 came out when I was a kid I probably would have liked it better. Also the plot did not make a ton of sense when put into context with the other 3, its simply just a kiddy movie. Nothing wrong with that, just sad to see that’s the direction they are taking things. The original and the first sequel were much more flushed out, even if the production quality wasn’t as good as it is today.

They are both bad for the same reason. 3 is a little better though cause it is a somewhat satisfying ending to the story and uses the characters well. I don’t get why so many characters from the original 3 come back in 4 and then have little to no screen time and are static. Also where was the Furious 5 like come on man.
