My main complaint besides Battleworld is the lack of training mats like BRO how tf u want me to keep up and build up these characters for these events when you don’t give us any methods to farm xp mats. i honestly just think that after Battleworld, i can say that they think to small when it comes to new game modes. The fact we dont got a mode where we can use more than 5 characters for example for more complex or difficult battles is odd. Specially when we know the engine can handle multiple characters from summon or mission allies. If i did not enjoy the game as much as i do i would probably quit like people do since a lot of the stuff becomes repetitive.

This is a really good point. I really enjoyed the tower mode where we could only use 3 characters. It changed the dynamics of the strategy. But why is that mode so rare? I've been playing for 8 months now, which maybe that isn't that long, but I've only seen the tower mode twice. The first time I saw it I was still low level and couldn't really participate beyond floor 1.

I'm honestly giving myself till maybe the day of their 7th anniversary before I ultimately pull the trigger on quitting. I'm hanging on by a few threads from quitting any earlier. That and I feel borderline obligated to keep playing because I spent money on the game. I've probably spent more than I probably should have on my account and I'm not even a kraken/whale. Its even at the point where I'm low key scared to ask support how much I've actually spent on my account. What little interest I still have is likely from just talking to alliance mates who are also hanging on by threads from quitting as well. Hell, I'd honestly even just go back onto Marvel Snap. At least on there, what little you would be spending goes a lot farther and isn't a huge time sink out of any 1 given day.

ive lost good long time members in my alliance due to scopely shenanigans. battleworld finished them off. i want to kick half a dozen others because they arent helping in battleworld, and the added fatigue has made them less productive elsewhere. the battleworld gameplay isnt fun for 5 of the 6 days per week. and spec ops is the worst thing ive ever seen in game. my alliance is non discord operating and the in game has zero tools to help alliance leaders coordinate anything other than in game chat, which puts stress on me as leader and i have no interest in having to create external grids manually digging up 20 plus ppls rosters. which has me not wanting to lead after doing so for 2 years. im singing to the choir. this is my story. and i firmly believe my story is closer to the majority than the minority. scopely is a bad company filled with dumb people.

Scopley recently canceled other games that were close to being completed. They said they were just going to move the developers around but who knows. Beniwestside stated that he believes the game is thriving, and will continue to thrive etc. He also believes that scopely now believe in a revolving door policy with MSF, so old players will leave, new players will take over and so on. Because scopely are fast forwarding new players nearer to end game players etc. I just wondered what your thoughts on it were.

I don't believe the game is "thriving". But, I do believe that yes they probably want to focus on getting NEW players in rather than appeasing or making it a good experience for veteran players. They are pushing the Time Heist, and started popping out offers that include upgrade tokens for characters.

Although I do agree with this new way of encouraging newer players in, enticing even. By giving them the world early on, and then suddenly like everyone else. They'll have the rug pulled out from under their feet. And in all honesty, I don't think newer players or certainly as many. Will have the same desire and level of commitment to continue, when things go south for them. And because of that, at this current rate I'll be amazed if we're talking MSF this time next year. Going through the motions is a good way to describe how i feel about the game now. Right now if it wasn't for my alliance depending on me I would probably just not be logging in most days. Thats the first time I have felt like this in a long time. I am very close to quitting. And just like Bennywestside the reason is not all the other terrible character releases it was that diamond skrull event that really pissed me off. The other issues you can point towards greed, but that skrull event was just showing complete lack of respect towards players who worked hard to get him to that level. Its like whats the point? should i event spend diamonds on OML when its available? or will they give those away a month later?

When MSF hit its 3rd year, there was commentary that it's unusual for a mobile app game to last that long. Most of them last about 1-2 years and people move on. It was the same with the Marvel Alliance game before this one that I played. 2 years and the developers shut it down and MSF came out. I have a friend who was in the same Alliance with me, he told me he's quitting MSF as it's just isn't fun anymore, too much grinding. There really is too much pay2win now and low rewards for new toons. Too many that you need to build up for the next event. I find Battleworld to be too easy on the daily run through. End of the run when we get to Knull... it's 3x against him with best teams and we get what? 3 shards on diff 1 and 5 on diff 2? It's a fairly low ammount.

The population grew quite a bit over this past year... I'd be willing to bet if we went back 12-18 months, the total population is roughly the same or perhaps, even still, better. Things are never quite as bad as the community thinks they are. Not at all trying to say things are great - and yes, change needs to happen with their current practices. But fear mongering like this doesn't help a thing... it'll likely just cause people to decrease spending and time spent even further, exacerbating the actual reality of the situation.

We did gain a lot up until middle of this year but have since lost those gains and are now seeing dips in this latest snapshot. Things are continuing to get worse and so will the population. I think it's a combination of character release methods/orbs, Battle World and screen-time. They should start rotating game modes so not all modes run every week and/or add sim to war/cc. Another good change would be to give points for completed columns in spec ops.

Between BW and the whole new character release method, I'd imagine the combination of both aspects as well as them going back to star gating legendaries is most of the reasons players are leaving. I know 3 of our alliance members are talking about leaving due to one or more of the issues i mentioned above. My alliance started BattleWorld w/24 ppl.. Rn today we sit at 18 ppl.. They've all quit the game completely... There are some who are doing it accidentally and some who know how the exploit is done and repeatedly take advantage of it. I have personally heard of a few variations of different bugs. It is however on scopely to fix this but ya know they went on holiday apparently.

Regarding the KZbin views, I've largely given up as most content creators focus on the new teams. With the new "pay to release" model scopley has initiated, most of us don't have those teams, and won't get them for a month (or months) so the content isn't relevant

I mean, there is a lot of creators out there who focus on gameplay on the new teams, because they're used to buying new characters etc... for the vast majority we don't unlock for like 30-days so you could argue whats the point about watching this stuff exactly. Man-Thing and Omega Sentinel are great examples of characters that got unlocked for me and I largely didn't care much about them.

You mentioned Scopely are $ focused and so should be keeping the player base happy. Perhaps the F2P players are leaving as it is becoming harder to keep-up with the bombardment of drip fed character shards. As $ is the ultimate goal for Scopely, perhaps they don't care if F2P players are leaving. I'm F2P and I'll keep playing, sure I won't get the latest thing now, but I know I'll eventually get it. I'm not in a rush as ultimately it's just a game and it is not important, but I understand there are those that do get hooked on the wanting it 'now' sensation.

It's not wanting it now. It's that chars become unless after 6+months when you unlock or get them to usable lvl. You can't do events , can't do milestones , can't be effective in all the other modes. This also means you don't get the resources , mats, gold or any fun. What's the point of playing ; if your hardlocked in raids, cc, arena, war, events, milestones , challenges and dimensions. The only real thing a f2p player can do these days is play rta and blitz!

Honestly game is a chore. No gold even with slower character releases you are still broke. Way to many worthless game modes. You have like 15 different currency that just pile up because the tabs have nothing you need. Cosmic crucible is a slog everyone just slaps Lil red devil man and daddy asguard on defense. Arena is pay to win. Plus if you save all your dark promo credits on one guy for about 10 months for a competitive advantage they just gift a 1 diamond to the whole community and your out like 20k dark credits. Don't forget you have to core for all the new characters. There is way more wrong but idk your right I feel like this won't get addressed and we are all doing unpaid labor for this company.

It's not even just Battle World; it has a lot to do with the change to release methods. It is not fun to have to pay to play the game. If you do not pay, you can't do most of the events and progress. Also, nothing feels good opening 100 orbs and only getting 10 character shards that you need and 1000s for old shitty characters.

Im almost done also,. Trying to get Odin as a F2P player and not in to alliance makes this game impossible. Along with Battleworld being boring, not that interested in the game anymore

I quit msf like 6 months ago It began to be boring, time consuming and started to feel like a choir I watch your channel to prove myself that my decision was right. Msf is getting worse and worse each month. However enjoy watching, so keep up the good job. Maybe we will meet in MMM😅

Battle world sucks. Time it takes to play this game is insane. New characters paywalled. PvP more p2w than ever. Gold and training mats bottlenecked. Why watch KZbin videos if I don’t have new p2w characters. Alliances collapse and players quit when their friends leave game
