The Courthouse is what it says. I did jury duty there about fifteen years ago. The building to the right of the Gaskell Memorial Tower used to be the famous La Belle Epoque restaurant.

Sadly nothing like the beautiful upmarket knutsford of the past.. 80s 90s higher vibes.. More beautiful property, adorned old architecture...beautiful classic cars, made of steel traditional way..nit recyled toxic plastic with dangerous thin wheels...unsafe on our roads, these days, potholes caused by these toxic cars... Knutsford of 80s 90s 2000, had style then, fashion, it was great spotting people wearing trend setting clothes then.. excellant restaurants.. Art Galleries...beautiful tatton park.. We were going to buy an old mill building as our home then. Decided on glorious solid property in timperly rather.. We cannot comprehend the abject ugliness now, in our cheshire towns...hobo dressed people in high class areas..disgusting.. People made efforts to dress well then.. Its like uk has been invaded by zombie apocalypse now...horrible.. Hence leaving uk asap next year...Uk soul destroying now, like were in hell or somthing..cold, austere, and ugly...not for us...
