James’ missed thin cut shot on the 2-ball was his crucial error (9-7 in favor for James). Safety play/strategy is something that James needs to improve. he keeps on forcing tough shots resulting to errors which gives Ko Pin Yin an opening to even the score, then go to the hill first and eventually win the match. He could’ve gone to the hill first 10-7 if he opted to play safety on the 2-ball and put some more pressure on Ko Pin Yi to possibly win the match.
