Quantity over quality will be the story of our season. Too many Players that didn’t add value to the starting 11 and just fulfilled Mckenna’s approach to squad rotation.

Town played well on Saturday, the loss was down to the errors by the goalkeeper. Two shots and two goals against isn't even Div 2 standard. Town need a forward thinking replacement for Sam and a reliable Keeper. We have a real attacking threat and on another day we would have won this game 3-0

No; both goals were also caused by very poor defending. For the first, Cajuste and Davis didn’t bother following the runner and for the second no one put a tackle in at all, they just backed off and backed off and let the Southampton player run through them. Agree muric was at fault for both goals too but he got no protection at all. Morsy looks cooked and can’t run or tackle at this level for 90 mins, we had no ideas up front and rely on Delap. Broadhead can’t finish. Jayden looked awful and Tuanzebe got skinned for the second goal. It’s going to shit very quickly.

Agreed, also I feel Davies would be better suited being pushed up the field as his defensive skills are lacking. Reminds me of Trent!

@ It’s not his defensive skills. It’s the role he’s being asked to play which is to get forward whenever possible as an overload on the left and then he’s often out of position when attacks break down. If he was asked to play as a straight left back with a defensive role then you’d see much better defending.

If we knew what we would sign before the start of the season everyone would have been happy,except the fantasy guys where they want proven pro players ,also we have no connections abroad which the club alluded to on promotion,then you could say have we consolidated to give us a great building block if we get relegated.its not wasted money.did we go up too quick to stay in the prem yeah but we do have parachute payments also so maybe its pain before the gain
