I was able to ride there in 1991 on a boogie board the waves were big it was a spring swell , and those rocks are no joke! Much respect !, also that trail was a bugger.., we lived/worked on the pineapple plantation down thr road, in Napilihau(sp) Lahaina area for 9 months as a 16 year old kid. I love that side of Maui with all my heart until I die. we also used to camp by the lighthouse over there, fond memories watching this.

Koa - we absolutely love tuning in to watch your trips, travels and sick barrels. I admire your healthy attitude and gratitude for the life you live and you appear to have full respect for the ocean. However, I was surprised to see you guys buying cases of plastic water bottles on Maui, and drinking from a plastic jug at Peahi, instead of using refillable water bottles (ie: Hydroflask). You are in a great position by taking advantage of your time in front of the camera to promote sustainability and low impact living in and around the ocean. Aloha and keep ripping!
