I own both a mango (concert) and a koa (tenor) Ko'aloha. My experience is that mango is a touch brighter, and the koa a touch warmer. I think that's in evidence here as well. That said, individual builds matter. So too does string choice, high G vs low G, etc. and of course the manufacturer. What I can say with certainty is that Ko'aloha are simply amazing ukuleles of tremendous beauty and build quality. The sound is rich and volume is superb without being overwhelming. Having purchased from Aloha City, I can also say I'd buy from them with confidence.

I’m liking the Mango. They’re both warm to my ears but the Mango has a brightness and clarity that I enjoy.

Listening throught head phones, My hearing detects the Koa sounding a bit warmer than the Mango. The Mango may have a bit more presents . Both are very nice. jeff
