Today -- 2022 February 24 -- was not a good day.
First Putin ordered Russian armed forces to invade Ukraine which may or may not begin World War 3, then the beloved necromancer of HoloFantasy (Gen 3) -- Uruha Rushia -- got suddenly and shockingly unceremoniously terminated from Hololive.
While Ukraine has the more difficult struggle, I carry a little more attachment to Rushia as she was the second Hololive talent that I could recognize by name and character design after Fubuki got me into the rabbit hole. I wish her the best in her future endeavors and health, and a swift and minimally destructive end to the conflict in Ukraine.
With so much bad news dropped within hours of each other I didn't know what else to do today. So I played with the zoom and pan function of Blender's video editor while attempting to bring attention to a short fun moment in Das Finale 3 that I haven't heard many viewers talk about.
As usual, I do not own the footage in this video.
