this is now dubstep (the tempo is 140BPM, where as the original is 100BPM), and the offbeat was done on purpose and it's done insanely well in my opinion. but it's still a matter of taste so everyone's right anyway :)

Dude. 140bpm is the usual tempo for DUBSTEP. Glitch hop is usually around the 100-115bpm area.

Meh, Culprate remix of funk blaster sounded too good to be true. Well, it is true but it's pretty bad. The composition is all over the place it changes way too hastily. Would this have been a 6 minute track with more time for the different sounds, it could have been pretty good. Now it just sounds like culprate wanted to put everything in a too short song and the result is just messy.

I atleast don't think so. But I guess its culprates way of putting his touch to it but it didnt really fit on this song imo

Glitch Hop as a genre is entirely built around intentional dysfunction, ridiculously syncopated beats and off-beat rhythms. While I love it, I can definitely see why you don't like it.. It's certainly not for everyone.
