as someone who witness the Jordan era and this, i prefer the excitement of the Jordan era to be honest, maybe it's because i was a kid and have a more mature view on rivalries nowadays. i don't think the LeBron/Kobe rivalry was anything special to be honest. Seeing LeBron come off the plane in tears after learning of Kobe's passing, now I understand it even more. I can't imagine how LeBron is handling this loss. I know how WE feel it, but this was like his kid brother, as Kobe was Shaq and so many other's kid brother. Just sad. I miss Kobe.
@ball36775 ай бұрын
It was such a tragic hit to the whole NBA. Especially when you consider how young the sport still is. So many of its legends are still alive or lived to very old age. Kobe passing at 41 was like the NBA losing its collective nephew or brother.
@TrillFrrr8 жыл бұрын
I know people may hate or whatever and say I'm crazy but the top 3 GOATs are MJ, Kobe, and LeBron
@thenattyg38 жыл бұрын
+whosTrills how do you equate greatness? if its titles and MVP's then you have to go to Bill Russell, the man has 11 rings. If its ability to dominate the game then its Wilt, the press would say he couldn't do something and he'd go out and do it just to prove them wrong (100 points in a game, fifty fucking FIVE rebounds in a game, 21 dimes in a game, 25+ blocks in a game, ((didnt record stats)) If its the ability to make every single person on your team better than its Magic, if its the ability to put an entire team on your shoulders and run through brick walls to achieve your goals its MJ, if its the ability to put a team of scrubs on your back and carry them to a finals single handedly through sheer grit heart and genius despite being the smallest man on the court than its AI (the Eric Snow freethrows were sick doe, sorry for callin ya a scrub), if its the ability to drop jaws and make shots no one else on earth thinks is possible (weak hand ((left)) fading out of bounds double coverage?) on a nightly basis than its Kobe, if its the ability to do everything on the court better than 99.98% of the players that ever played the game its LeBron, if its consistency throughout a career where you are the anchor of a team that is always in contention if not winning the title than its Duncan, you can make cases for all of them, and you wouldn't be wrong in any of your cases. But I was born in 1995 and some of my first memories are the Lakers 3Peat and the Huskers dynasty, of all the players I've seen play over the years MJ Kobe Duncan and LeBron are without a doubt the GOATs of this generation, the game done changed boys. Its a softer game and LeBron may not have to get clobbered on his way to the rim like Jordan Shaq or any of the pre 2000's era players did but you have to respect his game regardless of how you feel about unclutch and soft. Just like you may not like the Lakers (cause we pooped on you and you were angry and jealous) but you have to admit if its the 4th quarter in 2007 theres nobody on planet Earth that you would rather have on your squad with the ball in his hands than Bryant. we're all right, and its just a game, (queue ball is life) but you should just appreciate fucking greatness in your era when you get the privilege to observe it and not worry about arbitrary lists and who's opinion matters. FFS we live in a probabalistic multiverse that splits infinitely every trillisecond where your will power can literally make anything happen, so stop splitting hairs and just enjoy boys :D

It's so poetic for Kobe's last internet posts were posts of love and respect for LeBron.
