Kobe was one of those rare, rare, rare players that no matter where he was on the floor, no matter who was guarding him, he could shoot and make it. His shooting hands were so soft. His footwork was just incredible. He created shots when nothing was there. He made shots when you thought you had him beat. I dont care what anyone says, he is one of the greatest of all time. Only players I would compare on his level would be kareem, Jordan, Magic and Bird. Those guys right there, could score from anywhere at anytime. I'm not sure if they had this rule back then but when harden does it he has a gather step and that's the step back. So he dribbles back while stepping back which is the gather, and then when he lands it's 1-2 no travel cause it's a 3 step to travel.
