The erostep is not a travel by an my generation standard if done correctly. But I will after that traveling is bad in today’s game. There’s literally a travel on every play when a player first gets the ball. They shuffle their feet with no dribble, stop, then shoot or dribble. It’s bad.

@@Eliras24 Kobe would literally be a nightmare in today's NBA. Like 2006-20011 Kobe would be even worse than Harden if they officiated him the same way. If you didn't have your balls on his hip he was swishing it from up to 30 feet out. So tired of people tryna act like he didn't have elite shooting ability.
@Eliras24
@Eliras24 3 жыл бұрын
@@marquisemoody6901 lol anyone would be crazy just to think Kobe had not an elite shooting ability, when he was so good at it that he could just shoot from anywhere and everywhere on the court. He just had not the help that other superstars had, when he was in his prime. As he had that only when he was still too young, and still did immensely good there. Give Kobe a Steph, Klay and Draymond, or a Bosh and Wade, and see what he could do in these years. He had his teammates, Pau was amazing, but he hadn't a super team for sure. And yet he beat one of them in Boston

He is the best one-on-one player of all time. Greatest period? Debatable. Fine; I'm a lifelong Kobe fan, but I'll give you that, especially if Jordan's in the conversation. But you are not telling me one on one this man wasn't the most versatile, skilled, and devastating player. He got any shot he wanted, and if he couldn't, he could find a way to score no matter what you threw at him defensively. Back to the basket, top of the key, wings, baseline, one defender, two defenders, three defenders---he just knew what to do, how to find weaknesses, and how to exploit them. The best one-to-one player ever. ever. ever.

Kobe was one of those rare, rare, rare players that no matter where he was on the floor, no matter who was guarding him, he could shoot and make it. His shooting hands were so soft. His footwork was just incredible. He created shots when nothing was there. He made shots when you thought you had him beat. I dont care what anyone says, he is one of the greatest of all time. Only players I would compare on his level would be kareem, Jordan, Magic and Bird. Those guys right there, could score from anywhere at anytime. Still can't believe people disrespect Kobe and say he isn't even Top 5. Kobe is definitely top 3 for me. But people be putting Bird over Kobe lol... The hate is too real. Kobe literally could do everything. He doesn't rely on 1 single aspect of the game like many players today. (Steph and his 3s, Giannis and his paint game.) Kobe was literally the most well rounded player ever. I really wish Kobe was still alive.. LONG LIVE KOBE BEAN BRYANT! YOUR LEGACY WON'T BE FORGOTTEN.

I'm not sure if they had this rule back then but when harden does it he has a gather step and that's the step back. So he dribbles back while stepping back which is the gather, and then when he lands it's 1-2 no travel cause it's a 3 step to travel.
