Kobe & Gianna Bryant Laid to Rest at Private Funeral

Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant are at their final resting place. Two weeks after the NBA legend and his daughter tragically died in a helicopter crash alongside seven others, the pair have reportedly been laid to rest at a private Los Angeles funeral. To honor the mourning family, the late basketball's rep could not confirm the news to Access Hollywood. Though the reported funeral was private, a public memorial will be held for Kobe and Gianna on Monday, Feb. 24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, giving fans an opportunity to pay their respects.

I think by releasing the public memorial date, it created a distraction for us and likely had the majority of people thinking that they are still making funeral arrangements whereas I am sure that Kobe likely already had some sort of "funeral" arrangements or even a will which likely made the logistics in that regard easy to navigate. The constant travelling as an athlete means you have to be prepared for anything. Physically we are leaving. But energetically, we vibe forever.

I still can’t believe it... as a life long laker fan... Kobe felt like a member of my family a cousin I never met but knew every thing about... from the court to off the court..: he gave me inspiration to keep skateboarding or to keep pushing cause 24 did... when I hurt my self pick myself up and put my finger back in socket and keep playing.. Gigi was on her way of making history... Kobe thank you for the memories I share with my family bonding over your skills thank you Kobe...
