Great video. I like using slate in terrarium and aquarium decorations. It creates great walls for terraces or ramps. Its quite popular among breed various types of cichlid fish. Also you can put it under a heat lamp and can make a great basking area for reptiles.

Might be my favorite series on youtube! Also, i'm curious, does this kind of roof require any maintainence? does the tiles break ocationally, does it grow moss on them that needs to be cleaned etc?

Thanks! From what I read they can last around 70-100 years with little to no maintenance They are quite durable and have a good resistance to the elements (heat/cold) so I don't think they'll break too easily. I believe moss can sometimes grow on it though but thats also the case with clay roof tiles so I don't think they differ too much in that regard.
