That's good! Actually, we can say that the ID branch was the 1st HoloEN, because of the other branches (JP and ex-CH branches) most of them speak in their native language, and only the ID branch spoke in English before the HoloEN was announced. Even the ID branch members, I think, mostly speak in English (there's a joke going around about whether the ID branch is really ID or a pseudo EN branch, lol). Anyway, I think the HoloID really went mainstream (especially in Indonesia) when Gen 3 debuted. Thanks to Kobo, because unlike other members, she speaks mostly in Indonesian, which makes even normies fall into this rabbit hole lol

This is also true for most Indonesians here because most of us don't speak Indonesian on a daily basis (heck, I hardly ever speak Indonesian, by the way; I live in West Kalimantan, so I speak Malay). But then again, I think most of them speak Javanese or Sundanese because they live in Java. For Ollie, maybe she's Batak because she can speak loudly, like most Batak people, and from what I've heard, she's also Christian, so I can only think of that

Yes, I understand that. Actually, it's Southeast Asia, which is close to Oceania (Australia). But for Indonesians, you can't say the same as for Turks because out here there are so many different races, like Austronesians (majority, like Filipinos), Mongoloids (East Asians), Eurasians (Mostly Indo-Dutch) and Melanesians (dark-skinned people), again with hundreds of different ethics. There is no asian equivalent to turks, turks are turks, and already a part of asia as the main component of Central Asia. The closest thing to a turk is the Bantu of africa, A unfathomably large migratory population which ended up spreading displacing, assimilating, or destroying a vast number of smaller unique peoples and cultures in their wake, homogenizing a large percentage of their respective continent's landmasses. In terms of equivancy if you want to make comparison you'd have to use cultures/nations from different continents entirely. like Asia vs americas, africa, or europe. Indonesia is a collection of hundreds of historically separate principalities and kingdoms that were briefly unified under large short lived empires (Srivijaya, Melayu, Kedah, Majapahit, and Demak) a few times before before forming a combined nationalist unity in opposition to dutch colonial rule. This would directly compare to Germany today. A nation that also consisted of 100s of small scattered fiefdoms that were nominally united under a mostly symbolic powerless Holy Roman empire over its existence, and which did not find a common nationalist unity until the 1840s-1870s. There are several other similarities such as them both being the largest economic powers in their separate regions, and both being home to several distinct dialects and languages within a larger family group.
