His Bessarabian father was even worse, but his mother had lineage from Russia, Poland and Hungary and had a decent tolerance to spices. My mother is from Québec and the basic dried chili powder is almost too spicy for her. I am growing Carolina Reapers on my balcony to cook with, and I have a 600k Scoville sauce I use often. 😅

Ever heard of a chili pepper call the Carolina Death Reaper? If you have then you'll know why Dad can handle it. As for Kobo I say her Rain Shaman tongue probably tone down the spiciness. IRL though European can't handle spicy food at all while American like Dad can tolerate it then there's Kobo who's Indonesian meaning she can handle spicy stuff.

Makes sense actually. Water shaman has natural resistance to fire-element spices due to having water-element attribute. Grim Reaper can simply tank the damage the spices bring due to being a entity that is close to afterlife. Phoenix tho, has one of its early depictions not being a firebird, but a holybird that is eternal by rebirth/reincarnation, where it will burst into flames and BURNED to ashes when dying, and then from that ashes a new egg is emerged. In other words, Phoenix are technically susceptible to fire. 😆

as someone who has listened to both callis and wawa's voices extensively since their debuts, im like 99% sure that wawa was the one who said "you wanna kill your mom?" at 0:28 but i could be wrong.

I live in the Midwest, and one time on a school bus, some middle schoolers dared me to do the One Chip Challenge as I was disembarking (I was a Senior in high school at the time). My brother, who was in middle school, later told me the kids that dared me were trying it in the bathrooms and throwing up because of the spice and an apparent Midwestern lack of spice tolerance. Here's the thing. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and have been a spice freak my whole life. I also went through several medical scenarios that limited my sense of taste, which only increased my love of strong/spicy foods. Simply put, I took the chip, ate it, stood there for a second, then said "Not bad" and left. As I did so, I heard their stunned reactions and smiled to myself.
