Generally only some pop vocalists actually sound like how they talk. Like boybands and these big pop stars who just kinda hold a couple notes in a speaking voice and the rest is just production effects and mixing. And most people who don't really know how to sing usually sound like that too. But if it's funk, jazz, metal, classical, rock, swing, punk, folk, blues, etc. in terms of vocal style, people generally sound totally different when they're talking normally. Pop styles are usually based on one of these older styles, as technically pop isn't an actual genre, but rather just seemingly popular elements of everything else combined with simpler chord progressions, a middleground tempo and a melody that isn't hard to remember. So most pop singers who can really sing are singing in some other style, while the true "pop style" singing is actually just people who can't sing without autotune (see T-pain for someone who overdoes autotune because he just likes the effect, he can sing, he just chooses to sound like a synth for some reason) Even rappers usually sound totally different on the mic (like comparing Eminem or Ice T to their interviews... like.. they don't talk at all like how they sound on their tracks, since that's not what they're going for on the tracks. You can still clearly recognise them, but the difference is huge.) Singing isn't talking (rapping is also not talking, neither is growling or screaming or yelling) so honestly if someone sounds the exact same while talking and while singing... they're probably not very good at one of those things. Kinda like if an actor always just plays himself in every movie role even when their character is supposed to be someone else (*cough* Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson) or if someone writes a fantasy novel like it's an essay. A lot of people will like it, maybe even a majority of people, but I still think they're not doing it right. So what I'm saying is Kobo is just a good singer, and a good singer isn't supposed to sound just like how they talk.

Yes no doubt - She's an entertaining streamer, sole reason she was able to get so much sub in a short time and put vtubing on the map in her home country. - Amazing singer, one of the best in Hololive, and very versatile, she can do alot of genre. - Able to play multiple instruments like guitar and keyboard piano. - She writes her own songs, lyrics and composition. - Great dancer and has charismatic stage presence. - Has keen ability to pick up nuances when singing in foreign languages. Real talk, shes a complete package as an idol, in my opinion, Hololive should be pushing her more as an actual virtual idol.
