The first thing extreme difficulty does is to replace all the "normal" class soldiers with "red" aka "sharpshooter" class soldiers (which for the Snow Gorilla, replacing all the "normal" class with "pink" soldiers) and the second thing is to reduce the timer to 35 seconds which is the normal difficulty timing for Crisis Zone.
