The metal uprights may be bent from the bridge sagging. As opposed to have been hit by something.

We live right down the road from there our grandkids climb through the bridge all the Time you should go back and interview them they play under the bridge and make mud pies

😢oh this one breaks my heart. It needs a lot of TLC. Someone needs to adopt it and give it new life. It can be saved, fully restored. Not to drive on but save it for History sake. Do they give covered bridges sexual identity. I want to say he needs some love, a lot of TLC, he has seen better days. Makes me want to adopt him and give him new life. 😊 thanks Cliff for showing and sharing let's call him Joe with us. Why Joe? I had a uncle Joe and by the time he passed, he was in pretty bad shape, plus he couldn't drive and I remember him once driving off a bridge. Oh he was not hurt too bad but his girlfriend was in full body cast. She did pass from her injuries. Thing was how he kept getting his driver's license renewed😅 well uncle joe knew some shady characters, and he'd give them a couple bucks to give him a fake one.😂 that was in the late 70s y'all. Yeah in Ga in the 80s you could get fake ids as well. Finally it took the law till the 90s to catch up with the ones doing it.🤦‍♀️ uncle joe has gone on to his just rewards.🙏. But he was a big part of my childhood. Looking at this covered bridge just remind me of uncle joe. RIP uncle Joe. I hope this covered bridge get new life can be saved.✌🕯💕🤗🦋🌻🙏🙂👋👣. Neita.😁
