He lied on his medical records, so he could be a social worker in military (reserve for people who have medical conditions). He paid a illegal broker to falsified his health records, so it was said he has epilepsy (a lie). Since Ravi didn’t have any prior criminal records, they sentenced him to do another military service as an active duty.

Unfortunately, Korean variety and in general love this type of pranks tho. Especially like making idols cry and than say it's a prank. Worse prank I saw was with Jackson Wang of Got7 when they said that for his Birthday they surprising him with a trip back to China to see his family. They even drove him all the way to the airport and as he is getting out and is so excited they say j/k it's a prank. Now it's time for u to go on a TV for a show. I think it was Donnie and Connie who brought him. He was so upset cuz he hadn't seen his parents since he left China years ago. I guess JYP to apologize to him that XMAs at the company party he surprised him with letting his parents come to the party as well. He paid for their flight and everything. But, still it's cruel to do this to Idols who go thru so much and are missing everyone back at home where some are too far to visit regularly. Then to take their emotions so high to let them down, then laugh not funny! How are they supposed to enjoy themselves in front of the camera like that. They also did pranks to KARD, JiWoo where her fav managers were fighting over dinner and BTS, JK making the manager think he was upset with him during a dance practice on members bday's and made them cry as well.

Now I understand why got that Korea cruise ship tragedy that killed so many school children. Their culture of, no matter what daunting situation is going on outside, just continue to "stay motionless" until someone get hurt, and still laugh away while motionless seeing things "turning bad". 😢 They don't learn their lesson.

The Sewol Ferry Tragedy was different. The students on that ferry were told that they should stay still and to not move because moving would make the ferry shake which would make it sink faster and they were told that help was on the way. They just followed what they were told to do. They were killed by the ignorant captain and staff of the ferry, it wasn't their fault that they followed what they were told to do. This was a different case scenario, they know that there's a fight but they didn't know if they should meddle with it. There are tons of staff members there. Another thing, this is not specific to one culture. People tend to stay out of the commotion because it's not their business to do so. That's what happened on the video.

That was not it at all, this is way different. For the ferry sinking it was a mix of the ship’s automatic speakers continuing to tell the passengers to stay where they were and that everything was fine, South Korea not having proper training for a boat rescue even though they do use boats regularly, and the president that was in office at the time did not want any help/aid from a Japanese navy ship and a American navy ship that both had the capability to help all because they wanted to say “hey we can do this ourselves, we can save our own people.”
