Such well spoken director. One of the themes I liked in this show was the courage shown by characters to live their difficult lives in spite of everyone telling them to die. It was inspiring to watch their perspective. My respect to everyone who built this world and those who played the characters. Such a tragic yet beautiful show.

Episode 3 don't you think ? The audience was completely taken aback by the sudden change of mood ,rhythm ,camera shots and colors : from comedy light hews ,serene tempo to a heart-wrenching invasion..

yes, indeed. When I first read the title, i was thinking its just a usual romance, but actually the story, the camera angle, all was brilliant. I was just fnish ep 5 part 1, not yet finish. Finally I watch this because it won Baeksang.

A well-written script that inspired the director, producers, costume designer, set designer, music scorer, the cast of actors & the entire production staff of My Dearest. It's the best historical romance Kdrama I've seen in the last 12 years.

I really like this director. When you watch the the bts you can see how jocular and upbeat and playful he is with the actors and staff. I think he created such a safe and also creatively stimulating space for these artists to flourish. And flourish they did! Fantastic masterpiece. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

By far my all time favorite kdrama… first off I didn’t want it to end, which is surprising for me since I always want the shows to end by the 10th episode (sorry😮). Then there was the chemistry between the two leads… man I was rooting for them all the way, even if I had a major crush on him!!
