“I think I can meet her again when I die.” This reminded me of the scene in Goblin where the Grim Reaper sent a blind man to heaven. His guide dog, who had left before him, was waiting for him all the time to head to heaven together. That made me burst into tears. The dread, anxiety, heartache and anguish to know that the day to bid farewell to your beloved pet is very real and very inevitable.

I had to say "I will see you later" to my dog two years ago and some times it is still hard ... I do believe that I will meet with my dog again because all dogs go to a good place.

Dear Hyun Moo, like you i had spent my entire 14 years with my dog and i am so afraid for the day to come when we are so attached to our beloved pet, it is so hard to let go : Grief is the price we pay for love. Please stay strong and find strength in your heart.

I experienced the day and it was so terrible. I ugly cried until I went to sleep that day. My cat was only 8 years, had a tumor in her ear. The first surgery was a success, but then it came back and it was malign, so we had to let the vets euthanize her. It has been a year since she passed away and I'm still not completely over it.

Animals are a gift to us humans. I feel the heart and pain of Jun Hyun Moo. I am a bird person I have two parrots one is now an elder name Spike she's been with me since 1994. Sometime animals will send you another of their exact relatives when they died. This happen to me when my female Parrot Dusty of more than 10 years died, on the "exact" same day Dusty died she send me her relatives Toby a male Parrot the same exact species. All animals know when they are truly love, and will sometime reincarnate back to us in the form of a new animal or bird.🐥🐦🐶🐕💕

Losing your beloved pets is literally the worst thing. I have experienced this multiple times already and it seriously takes a long time to move on :(

b e e yes because our beloved pets will always have a special place in our hearts. They never really left us. We can see them when other dogs remind us of them as if it was just yesterday. I still remember all of my dogs' names. It's hard but the happy memories with them make the whole journey worthwhile.

This was a sad episode. I don't want the day to come when my precious little Shorkie has to leave this World. He brings so much Love & Joy into my daily life. I use his photo as my profile photo bc I love him so much.

We had the same experience. But a couple of months after my first dog died, my family decided to adopt a puppy and we are happy. I do respect your decision though, because it really hurts to lose a pet.

true! when our first dog died I don't ever want to be attached to another dog so now I don't try to get touch with our other dogs.

I have to say i understand your feeling but remember life is not staying the same is about changes and how you meddle with them. You are going to lose people in your life ones expected others not so much. So you dont have to stay the last bitter feeling but the warm good days you had. Your first dog is the reason you will love and cherish other dogs, because he teached you how pure and lovable theyr can be, like the others that i jope will come, they are going to teache you new things and shiw more wierdness than the others. Like everything in life and people, you learn from them and say good bye then you teach someone else and then again it repeats its not sad if you just hold on to the good nemories and feelings, so when we are older we have something to hold on to. :)

I understand that feeling because I also have a dog who spend time with me since child. We create memories together but when the times come up, it's hard to said goodbye. To me, he is my family member not a dog.

17 with your pet is nlt cheesy is love. I just had to give in adopgion my cat because i was moving to another country and couldnt take her, i had a depressive era and she still alive, i cant imagine seeing your cheerful buddy fading away without energy. Is really sad.

I always get my dog and cat a buddy a friend so they don't feel abandoned and all alone when we go to work or go to school and can't be with them. This is soo sad!! Just like most humans crave companionship *so do dogs!* we think we love our dogs but when we leave them home they get sad !! 😢😢💔💔

Another reason why I don't want a pet. If my pet dies, I'm gonna cry and I will never forget our memories we made together. It's so sad to see your love ones pass away. Hyunmoo will definitely see Ttotto again, he will.

This happen to me before.. it been 1 year already.. My puppy almost turn 2 (his name peanut and he toypoddle) die becos of cats virus... 1 week after his treatment.. the vet. Doc. Say we should get ready he will die anytime... on the 4 mac 2017 @5.47 am i try my best CPR him but my precious kids give up and leave us... miss him...
