Testing the 50D stock in darker day exteriors to see how it holds up. Less physical stabilization than my Ektachrome test since I was on vacation and couldn't haul a bunch of gear.

Well with AI you can 3D print new custome made film cameras and new film stock and be able to scan film at cheaper better quality

Thank you! It didn’t need much grading. It was just really underexposed according to the internal light meter but I figured I’d keep rolling anyway and see how it turned out. I think that’s why it looks so different!

Really great footage! How did you go about metering, especially around 00:35-01:27? Did you rely on the internal meter or did you use a spot meter and manual exposed the camera? And also was this the 1014AZ or 1014XLS?

Thanks! On that shot if I remember correctly I used the internal meter on the sky then switched to manual exposure so it wouldn’t change the aperture while filming. It’s the 1014AZ.

Thanks! It’s typical super 8 4:3, I just cropped off the overscan that shows the edges for most of it.
