I wonder if they have considered outcrossing the shiro utsuri to common carp to improve the size and body… Then breed the offspring back into the pure shiro usturi line.

I'm looking at an omosako shiro currently sansai that looks very like the first picture of musashi would you expect much more sumi to come with age like musashi or is this a rare exceptional fish ?
