Installing the O ring applies more pressure on the extractor. It grabs the cartridge with more force when extracting. It’s not always needed but if you’re experiencing failure to eject this will almost certainly fix the issue.

Ok guys. The question why we should do it on brand new guns? I have got feeding problems too. The magazine shake inside and action teeth cannot catch cartridge properly. The extractor cannot pull it out. Guys are you seriously? I have SKS and had no ever, ever problems with feeding? With Kodiak deffence 7.62x39 I have solved these problems glued plastics electric tape on magazine and this o ring from dollar store. Is it difficult to produce quality products?
