I can't believe they thought it would be funny to do black-face... it's a really racist caricature of black people. It's rude and disrespectful. I'm disappointed...

He is disguised as Michael Jordan. Japanese is disguised as white by raising the nose, too. This is to occasionally this way in Japan. There is no discriminatory meaning in Japan. I'm sorry If you 've brought to your discomfort.

@@紅桜-k7x Due to the history of actors putting on bad afro wigs, enlarging their noses, and painting their faces dark to mock and dehumanize black people- their team should have known better. This was only a couple of years ago; there has been outrage about this that has reached major news outlets who broadcast worldwide and Blackface has been dehumanizing black people for over a century. In this day and age of technology and ease of information it's not nearly as plausible for a whole country of people to say they just didn't know. I highly doubt that China, Korea, and Japan's habit of making dark skinned characters with afros and big red lips the target of jokes is not a harmless coincidence considering the existence of blackface. Asian culture is just as ignorant and anti-black as Racist American culture; that's the truth. There is absolutely a deep-seeded discriminatory reason for this in Japan; they just won't admit and/or accept it. This is wrong, period. There's no justification.
