I just love seeing Amsa in action, one of the most exciting players. I love seeing Yoshi vs Marth, how they can both take advantage of each other's weaknesses. Kodorin is a great player.

@Joshua Suh Amsa says it's slightly in Marth's favor because of his range, pressure game and tipper. Also Yoshi always has to trade. However, Yoshi is hard for Marth to combo and kill, Yoshi can edge guard Marth then vice versa and Yoshi has more kill convertions then Marth has.

Agree matchup is in marths favour not by too much though. You can see what a hard time yoshi can have when you watch amsa vs zain. Kodorin needs to level up a little bit more to be on that level. Right now it seems he relies too much on the coockie cutter advantages marth has (fair wals, a lot of f-smashes, chaingrabbing techchasing).

aMSa does so many parries it's incredible, the timing for it is like 3 frames. When a Yoshi can parry so well, is the neutral really in Marth's favor? Blur's just kind of wrong there.

I'm fairly certain this is Marth's worst MU, any single hard read Marth can do, Yoshi has an answer for. I could be wrong but I'm think Yoshi can even parry a grab

@@cptdishwasher3179 That's mostly because Marth is an "easy" character, if you play bad with either, Marth always wins, just like when Mango plays terrible with Falco. However there is only one aMSa, for every top 20 Marths.

@@Krab17 That's false...Zain has a very positive record against aMSa, who only recently beat Zain for the first time in like 4 or 5 years (the first time he beat Zain was at a Xanadu tournament in a best of 3...I believe it may or may not have been pools, when Zain was just on the come up). Axe is 8-2 against Zain (h2h) lifetime, though. The other marths are however struggling mightily against Axe and aMSa. Zain is definitely favored against aMSa head-to-head, while slowly (possibly) turning around that pika matchup. No one "figures out axe"...that guy is just way too good for that to ever really happen (especially in the marth vs pikachu mu) Would love to see how their matchup develops over time. aMSa's use of the yoshi's command grab (swallow) in their most recent set presented some interesting questions for Zain to answer in the neutral game.
