What's really sad about all this is that Kody's abusive and neglectful behavior has taken a deadly toll. That's a reality of abuse. It causes real trauma to people, especially children. The pain of the trauma often leads people to numb themselves with addictive substance and processes. The trauma can lead to mental health issues and sometimes people can not survive their pain. It all fun and games to watch the show and gossip about them but the truth about the cost of his abuse being Garrison's life is so bloody sad.

Something I've never understood is that Kody, over the years, has been really critical of Christine's weight and even said he wasn't attracted to her because of it. And, I don't think he ever really resolved that feeling towards her. But, he loved and was attracted to Janelle and even today, still wants her back, even though she's heavier. Now, don't get me wrong, I think Janelle and Christine are both stunningly beautiful women, so I don't feel that way or even mean to be critical of them. And, I am a heavier woman.
