He’s leaving the church(actually they don’t want him) on the pretense of the cults dogma but he’s going to go to another church and use the AUB’s scriptures to compare too! Huh? Projection is a major symptom of a Borderline Personality…he sure seems to check the boxes with a Narcissistic tendencies. Had a family member with this diagnosis and WOW does he check all the boxes when I watch him.

My guess is that his hair isn’t a big deal to the church, but doing the TV show and not wearing sacred garments are huge issues. I think he just chose this one little thing cuz he figured viewers would find it relatable or sympathetic. Yeah, he’s out of touch. 😂

To get a teaching calling in the church he needed to have his hair a certain way. Not to be a regular member. A few years ago you needed to be clean shaving as a missionary in the Mormon church as well as if you attended BYU I. BYU didn’t car, membership didn’t care.

Nikki, I just learned something about the AUB that maybe you knew. I hadn't heard this before: The AUB was founded in 1929 by a man named Lorin C. Woolley. David Woolley has vaguely mentioned that he is "aware" of the existence of polygamy and polygamists (casually dropping that one of his sisters lives plural marriage). Is there any chance that David Woolley is NOT a direct descendant of the founder of the AUB?? I mean, it would be a huge coincidence if it were not the case. Methinks Christine and David might have more in common than we thought 😶

I think the old religion he will be apart of is when he can be his own leader because he won’t fallow anyone besides himself. My dad is a lot like Kody & he refuses to go to his church he’s been baptized in. He only watches on Zoom. The leaders should kick him out because if they knew the type of person he is they wouldn’t want him to be associated with their religion. Because he don’t practice any of the teaching beside (no holiday’s parts)

Mmmmm... 8 would disagree. I feel like i made this transition with my own dad. It is clear to me that kody needs help from a therapist. I hope he seeks that out. He is increasingly unable to accept criticism without feeling suspicious about its origin (love or hate.) and my dad was religious and that transformed too over the years from organized to "what he deems right". I think it all goes together. And i think where he is now is kind of all he knows. Like there is only the present abd his dreams for the future.
