Kof 97 + Kof Kyo would undoubtedly be the definitive version of the game. It would have a huge amount of additional material such as animations, an expanded story mode, and several characters not seen in the kof 97 game, some are exclusive to kof kyo.

I agree 100%. If they had made an anime with good animation and a simplified version of the story, KOF would have been as big or even bigger than Streetfighter. It has a character for everyone.

このゲームでクリスにあることをするとオロチになるのですが、オロチは1人専用なのでCOMがチームバトルの時は なかなか勝てなかったですね。１VS３はきつかった！！　それに、チームに入れられないのでちょっとガッカリ！

バトル半分(行動選択式のこの画面)、ストーリー半分(ノベルゲー)みたいな感じでしたよね。 純粋に格闘ゲームだと思ったら違うし、カットインのアニメーションが当時流行りの絵柄でKOFらしさが少なかったせいもあるかと。 格闘ゲーム苦手だけど、KOFのキャラクターで遊びたい人には向いてるかもしれませんね😅 それにしても、ブルー・マリーのアニメーション、妹が 「往復ショートトラック」 とか言ってて笑えましたな😆
