This is the best design that Falcoon came up with. Despite the fact that most of the alternate costumes he designed for this game are hit-or-miss (he significantly improved as an artist over the years; don't get it twisted), Mai's secondary outfit is pure perfection, and she looks beautiful with short hair. Lastly, Akoya Sogi's performance as Ms. Shiranui in this game and Neo Geo Battle Coliseum was her best overall.

I feel that the short hair fits Mai more than it does for kula also her another model e is one of my favorite for Mai also as for Neo Geo Battle Coliseum I used to play as Ai also I didn’t know for Neo Geo Mai had the same voice actor.
