The "easy" part is that there is a lot of repetition, making most of the learning muscle memory based, and that's still hard as fuck. Like look at those directionals, it's like they're having a seizure.
@SalimOfShadow3 жыл бұрын
That is very true. In my opinion the hardest part of this trial is delaying the first flashckick after the sans coulette activation

How do you do that second part lf the combo? Is there any tips or shortcuts
@SalimOfShadow3 жыл бұрын
I suggest double tapping the back D so that even if you accidentally get an up back D,there's a chance at least one of the 2 inputs lands on Back D... Also if you're getting an HD cancel into QCB B or D it means you're not doing the right inputs so you have to revision them
@SalimOfShadow3 жыл бұрын
The best way to learn this is by finding the right setup to practice it. Go to practice mode and select a trial that already starts you on the corner (10 for example),then do a roll followed by a sans coulette activation,after the opponent gets launched in the air,you do a light flashckick and then you can start practicing the d.u D back D d.u B back D d.u B loop without having to learn how to time the juggle... Also another one is doing the same loop from point blank using one rep of dp back D dp back D dp with only light dps,that also gives you the right height to practice the loop without timing it... This trials is very unforgiving with inputs,you have to find the rhythm...

People say KOF XIII is hard, but once you break it down...it's really easy. This game is really lenient on cancel window's and buffering. Idk why it's regarded as a hard game tbh.
@SalimOfShadow2 жыл бұрын
Yes and no,for sure KOF has a very lenient cancel buffer,but for some stuff the precision and speed of the motions is extraordinarily hard to nail. For example:Ash sans coulette combos/microwalk stuff,Regular Kyo sideswitch optimal combos,Ex iori free cancelling (not the infinite necessarily) Saiki hyper hop istant 4B more than 3 times,Athena ridiculous precise combos etcetera etcetera... There is no quote on quote "hard" fighting games,it just comes down to the level of play you're looking at,high level KOF (especially 13) can be absurdly hard for a number of reasons,that said a much slower and cheesable game like Street Fighter 4 still requires you to play high level footsies and oh boy is it hard played at proper level... KOF 13 execution is mediocre,but there are still stuff that are so hard that to this day,only 1/2 person can pull off consistently... Took me 2 years to master ash, combos,setups,crossups,specing stuff,mid combo run etcetera,and that character is the hardest in the game, though after you learn that,anything in the entire game but the free cancel is a walk in the park.
