I always thought something was off about them. It seemed more one sided where Ranveer is always praising deepika and treating her well but it’s rarely seen the other way around. I think deepika would not have married him if he was not successful in Bollywood. I think some media reviewers are giving too much attention and publicity by trying to dissect Deepika's statements, Ranveer's reactions etc. etc. Where in actuality, the show has probably been edited this way to grab media attention. On the other hand, we as audience don't know the real situation in any of their lives, and are up and open for passing judgements, which I think isn't fair. I have seen situations where a girl/boy trying to come out of depression from a failed relationship, goes through a phase of talking to different people; there may be a suitor who is serious about you but if the person is not in a steady relationship, how can we judge him or her for talking or seeing different people? Deepika had indicated that BOTH she and Ranveer were technically allowed to see other people.. but they kept coming back to each other. It was clear that both started dating casually and both were not exclusive. Ranveer knew that this is casual dating for the first 6 months when other suitors were also there. After that they were exclusive. Deepika DOES NOT deserve this hate. Their love is genuine, they also recognize that its not all glossy and requires work.. they love and support each other. Very disappointing to see content creators and social media twisting the episode.
