Kofi Annan visited Uppsala University

Former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and current Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson took part in a public seminar at Uppsala University the 2 September 2013. The two discussed the role of the UN, with their own experiences and today's challenges as a starting point.
Also attending the seminar was UN diplomat Hans Corell and the discussion was moderated by Peter Wallensteen, Professor of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University. HRH Princess Victoria attended the seminar as a guest.
