The reason behind the story is the fact that they have become fluent all of a sudden and so eloquent in a language that they were not speaking. From where they are coming from that is the mystery of the whole story. So people should stop the negative comments.

Forever Esi, their Father is an English teacher....did you hear one of the girls saying the father has been trying to teach them since they were Very young...? yet we re made to believe they never spoke English until that faithful night??? fair enough..... Yes the probability that the foreign accent could happen over night is very high. Look little children are smart to learn anything on a faster rate which we have seen in their exhibition. Do we often ask ourselves why foreign kids are so smart with their actions and inactions depicted in short videos or movies? They learn faster when we less expect them to do so, It's a fact that they have been well trained to do what they do which is a plus to the parents and for their story to be told. Few observations; Why would a little girl lie about what she ate when asked of what they ate in the morning??? Why would they be talking about fame and people wanting them to make their school and community proud????..….. huh I guess you didn't pay attention to these among others..... I admit that they're very smart.....no two ways but this isn't anything extra ordinaire......we pray for them to grow up to contribute to the growth of our mother Land.

It might not be a fully developed American accent: but you can still here it behind some words. Nevertheless it's amazing that kids with no background in English can well express themselves there in. I personally witnessed a similar case but I thought I was crazy till I saw these cuties 😍 They carry wisdom beyond their ages and are gifted to composed substance out of seemingly nothing. This can't be just usual! And science with its diagnoses of whateverrr syndromes?🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ Science is man made and has a limit! These children are gifts ❤️

This makes me feel sad. It's great that they've added another language to their portfolio but I wish for the day when we celebrate & pedestal Africans for speaking, reading & writing our own languages beautifully in the same way that this video is pedestalling them for speaking English. As an English-speaking Nigerian, I wish I was as fluent in my own native tongue as I am in English, accent included. It amazes me that so many Africans speak 3, 4, 5 etc different African languages as standard. I think we forget how astounding that is. Trust me, if, for example a German person could also speak the languages of multiple neighbouring countries; that person would be revered. Let's celebrate what's ours as much, if not more than what is other's.

Mrslydia baffour - This is INFERIORITY COMPLEX for the family and the community they come from! why should you be proud and exhibit a TAUGHT language! Can they WRITE their OWN LANGUAGE ? Why would someone be jealous - Well probably YOU ARE the kind of person who thrive to get the SAME THING someone ELSE have got irrespective! The accent is their OWN not an American anyway. it is just clear LEARNED English and this is not a miracle - dont be deceived. the father not speaking clear english is not the issue. if they were to be two years olds and NEVER BEEN TO SCHOOL AND the FATHER NEVER SPOKEN TO THEM IN ENGLISH then it can be argued as a STRANGE miracle but this my dear ignorant friend IS DEFINITELY NOT A MIRACLE. Anyway, if they wake up and said they've found a CURE for cancer by speaking ENGLISH to cancer patients then it would have been THE GREATEST MIRACLE AFTER JESUS! No wonder some Ghanaians are drinking someone`s bathing water thinking it will cure them of their laziness brains. And only in Ghana people believe that a FAKE PASTOR Shaving some people private parts in the name of prosperity in this modern technological world!! Oh gosh the thought is making my skin.....

Yeah because shes probably watching a lot of cartoons. That's where most pre school children pick the foreign accents from. Ghanaians are so obsessed with foreign accents it's so funny. Geez.

Awwww am here struggling for my kids to learn my Ghanaian language. See how Kofi is hailing just an ordinary English language. These beautiful kids are naturally smart but not the English. Besides this ascent has nothing to do with the American ascent. They are just fluent and smart. We have to appreciate their smartness and stop America sEm no 😂😂😂😂.

Foreign accent syndrome is a medical condition in which patients develop speech patterns that are perceived as a foreign accent that is different from their native accent, without having acquired it in the perceived accent's place of origin.

My brother God bless you. I had to find it out. But i think we have put a label on it so that we can make meaning out of a rather incredible phenomenon. However, i want to believe it's a supernatural phenomena of a possession of a sort. The kids speak of a life in a another consciousness, they're realities are so different from their chronological age. Their wisdom is from a different plane...it's like they know things only people who have lived that kind of life and been that special know. They just woke up and were picked and ushered into another life and consciousness! Wooww, that must be an amazing amazing incredible life and fate my brother. I speak with you because you seem to know. I'm really happy for them. I pray that enormous leap into another realm does not frustrate them. I pray they get the support to continue on that path...may the spirits guide them well to that purpose that must be achieved. 🙏🏾🙌🏾

No please, what the children are demonstrating as Kofi Adoma interviewed them is NOT foreign accent syndrome. Because they're not suffuring from any disease of the brain whatsoever as we could see them answering intelligent questions and very active as normal children. This is Divine and we will understand the reason some time to come.

I have realized that the kid cartoon are having a lot of impact on children. Pre- school kids specifically who are more into cartoons at home and in the nursery start speaking English with western accents. In some homes if you speak local dialects with some children, they reply with English. It is a developing phenomenon in the homes now. I have a case around me. I don't think there is any spiritual explanation to it. It is just an environmental learning process.
