And Koga is funny and gets a little bit of character development. He showed more than concern, he showed genuine love towards Kagome, and for that, he got my vote as well. Is true that He could pull that macho bravado and pretend, but what man doesn't when he is in front of his crush? Also, in the episode he left as his instincts told him, but came back AS SOON as he realized or was made aware that Kagome was in danger, despite the fact that his self-preservation told him otherwise -- something that not even Inuyasha has done when he was torn in two different directions (Kikyo vs. Kagome). He was always clear-cut and direct, even pushy and demanding when it came to Kagome, but he never put her in the direct line of fire, never made her feel 2nd best, never made her guess about his feelings or intentions towards her, even when someone else showed up! He made it perfectly clear where his interest was and his choice of mate.

@@bertatafel1938 if you have looked at the ENTIRE series, you would have seen that Kouga had to learn that Kagome was a different type of woman and he became OK with that! In fact! He liked her and became attracted to her because of that! Would he have been fine with her leaving at first? --No! Just like Inuyasha didn't and STILL had a problem with it (look into how MANY times he went to retrieve her and bring her back, Despite the fact she INFORMED him of the dates she would be back). However, Kouga had a bit more maturity than Inuyasha and learned to respect her boundaries better, give her enough space and trust...which ultimately that shows true love, all because he learned to LISTEN to her. Kagome struggled a lot with Inuyasha because many times he wouldn't LISTEN to her, mostly due to his emotional instability, inmaturity and his stubbornness, he had to suffer the consequences of his actions. Look at the difference of how Kouga IMMEDIATELY trusted her enough to listen to her when she told him about the jewel shard found in the birds of paradise the very time they met each other! (Granted it might have been day 3-4 after her abduction) but he didn't HAVE to do that and yet he let her guide him and trusted her enough that she would steer him in the right direction and it proved to be correct! Kouga was more mature, better equipped and emotionally ready to handle a woman of Kagome's caliber...problem was...she was emotionally stuck on Inuyasha...it was an emotional attachment that later, could proved to be fruitful, but not without its drawbacks. Lastly Kouga was more mature because he had the experience! He took on the role of the LEADER of a full pack (before they were decimated by Kaguya and other monsters) at such a young age, not only that but he accepted that role, which means he EMBRACED it as part of his destiny/calling; which ultimately made HIM more responsible, attentive (he had to, to care for each member of his pack), strategic and practical. Let us not forget that despite being as passionate as Inuyasha, sometimes, he could be very logical and was WAY more in-tune with his feelings, wants and needs as a "creature" (was going to write human, but NOPE!) At the end of the day, I'm NOT saying Inuyasha is bad.....but if he were to be a boyfriend to ANY woman....he would most often be labeled as a "toxic narcissist" just because he lacked the essential things like self awareness, maturity and a bit of emotional stability... which would have driven the poor woman to either dump him or get into an unhealthy pattern with him, which IS what happened with Kagome. In reality he is still reeling from a painful past , one which he needed to get over in order to start fresh with Kagome or Kikio.(which it was a MUST with Kagome and with Kikio he tried) He could be very emotional and very sensitive but it's also this traits that made him too reactive and not a good leader ...which if you look again, you would have found Mirokou taking that role in their small group constantly while Inuyasha just either disobeyed with those plans set up by another man (lone wolf mentality) or added a bit as second -in-command. Sorry for the lengthy diatribe but I just had to get my point across. Neither is "bad" but Inuyasha was definitely not the best choice.

@TheRaike24 but Koga has no special attack or strength if he could faced Naraku in the final battle since all wolf demons are all Fang and claws with few weapons. And like I said if Kagome met Koga first, Naraku would do the same thing to those two like he did to Kikyo and Inuyasha disguise as one then break then up and steal the jewel. And if you and other Kaga shippers should've known Inuyasha and Kikyo love was destroyed by the deception from Naraku. Plus there's also the Ayame thing being Koga's fiancé or did you forgot that like he did both in the Maga and anime

Sam Smith Well, it's a part in Inuyasha, The Final Act, I suggest watching it, because they actually finish the series. It's sort of like the 8th season, but when you transition from the regular Inuyasha into it it's a little awkward, but you can pick up what you sorta missed. And, I can't really answer that without spoiling The Final Act... So I'd just watch it, or read a spoilerific review or something XD.

I've already seen the entire series and read the entire manga, but only after watching this video did I realize that Kagome said "Sayonara". I was asking if that's the last time they saw each other because I wanted to know if, in that scene, Koga was officially giving up on Kagome. It was such a subtle moment but a huge step. Koga was 100% giving up on his first love and I hadn't even realized it the first time I watched it. So I was just asking to clarify if that really was the point where he had given up on her.

I used to love InuKago to gether, but when Kouga appeared, i changed to KouKag instead. This couple is soooo cute, and also because i hate how InuYasha always put Kikyou before Kagome and at the end still marries Kagome!? ( Yeah, well, i hate InuYasha, but i love Kikyou, she is my second fav behind Kagome)In my opinion, InuYasha is not good enough for either Kikyou or Kagome. ( Of course, that ' s just MY opinion)

Well IMO Inuyasha n Kagome is the way it should be.Inuyasha heart was never had a feeling in love but since Kagome came she able to heal Inuyasha heart slowly.It’s hard for Inuyasha bcuz Kikyo is absolutely his first love but she died N Kagome is Kikyo’s reincarnation.Kagome able to heal Inuyasha heart n Inuyasha start to be close with her.Inuyasha never face something like this(Triangle-love) plus he isn’t tht good at love.

Inu gets mad when Koga comes in contact with Kagome. But he made Kagome sad while running after Kiky. Bad Inu, he can't choose. I know he love Kagome because he was jealous, but I hated the way he made Kagome sad.
