KOH CHANG | 'Top rated' hotel 1,500 Baht. White Sand Beach honest review

I went to Koh Chang at the end of October 2023 to try out the top rated hotel for 1500 THB at White Sand Beach. That was for a mountain view room and included breakfast.
Despite the fact that it rained, Koh Chang is beautiful in almost any weather. And luckily just before dusk the skies cleared and I was treated to a beautiful sunset.
White Sand Beach is probably the most developed beach area of Koh Chang. It's the first resort that you hit when coming from the ferry port, and it's very popular in high season.

Seems like a reasonable place fro the price and location. Not a fan of the breakfast arrangements, but the coffee did look good.

Thanks, David. Overall, I thought it was worth what I paid. But the breakfast was a disappointment tbh. I don't know why they do the set menu. If there's not enough people for a full buffet, just take orders a la carte! Coffee saved the day, as it often does! Cheers!
