The Full Moon Party is done and dusted! Just a bunch of people sitting on futons glued to their phones. Such a drastic change from the parties of the 2010s.

i have been to about 5 full moons and my last one was in June 2007. Back then some Thai guy would go around with camcorder documenting the action.. I remember we used to look forward to the FullMoon Party DVDs the following afternoon. You'd make out on the beach without any worries about appearing on some random KZbin video 😀

There's some tourists about but it doesn't look too busy... Maybe westerners are facing increased costs back home and cant afford to go

There were few people because I was there from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The party is at its peak after midnight.

Most Thai people do not like to travel to Phuket. Because food is very expensive and local people They seem to want to welcome foreign tourists more than Thai people.
