I think it's legal. I saw local people driving a motorcycle on a mountain road on the Phi Phi Don island.

We are coming to Phi Phi Island in July. Can you help me out with this question. If I stay in the resort ( SAii Phi Phi resort or Zeavola resort) that far away from center, what is the transportation to town?

Travel between the center and the resort will be a long tail boat. Perhaps boat drivers are waiting on every beach during the day.
