Thanks. The Flush Valve is a worldwide problem, I'm in Brazil and I'm tired of changing these valves at my home . They are made to break. Whoever invents a simpler, easier-to-adjust system that doesn't break or leak deserves a Nobel Prize.

Not only did this video save me $ on the repair but at 5:38 you also taught me something else. I always thought my toilet sucked because you had to hold down the handle for a "full flush." Thank you for this video!! I would be so lost with this stuff without a visual tutorial - you make it very easy. I will say I had a hard time turning the canister counter clockwise to get it out. I had to help it along from the base of it - not sure if that’s normal but everything else went fine. Thanks again for this video. If not for people like you I’d be calling a plumber and completely missing the opportunity to do a quick fix like this myself.

Make sure you put the fill tube in the center of the canister, that is DO NOT use the side clip that comes with the Blue Fix Kit. It keeps the canister off kilter and causes a leak.

Thank you this helped me change the seal. Question: my fill tube was just running into the main cistern (vs. how You have it) I never had any issue. Is there a benefit either way?
