Why not just fill a used drink bottle with water and place it in the cistern, reducing the amount per flush by the volume of the bottle?

Yes, it’s important to save water, but you obviously do NOT do so by waiting to flush a toilet until it’s absolutely full of junk after using that toilet because that just makes things get dirty faster probably by letting germs multiply and spread around! Besides, it’s rude to leave behind a mess of any sort and expect someone else to pick it up!
