Koi fish health update after the attack
Here is the health of my koi fish one day after attack the condition of my koi friends are really bad. I have never seen fish in such a bad condition.

I feel your pain, I lost almost an entire pond full of fish due to an otter attack, it is really hard but it is a sharp learning curve. I now take precautions and have built removable covers which when in place thwarts any attack from heron & otters etc. In fact I know they are affective due to repeat unsuccessful visits. Please take adequate precautions because once they have found they WILL come back. All the best my friend

Hello,so sorry I lost a goldfish to a heron,he will be back,I would make your cover taller so he cannot peck and cover with wire mesh

I moved them indoors while the pond is rebuilt. But I dont know if any will live.

watching the update now after watching the heron attack. so sorry buddy. obviously im a bit late to give advice but dont beat yourself up too much i know its devastating. salt may help with the remaining koi though

so angry over the heron . never expected it. I also lost 2 goldfish in small pond. even though it had a fish cave.

What happened to them? Why are they so trashed? Are you removing chlorine and or clorimine before introducing them to the water?

Mate it maybe kinder to put them to sleep as you will be very lucky to keep them without infections 😢

If it comes to it might have to at least to the butterfly you may be right i am hoping the other 3 can recover. And be saved.
