Looks excellent. The normal algae that grows on the pond is an important part of the ponds ecosystem and helps reduce nitrates so should be left. The algae you don't want is blanket weed as that will take over the pond.

@@andyusher3871 yeah I know it’s normal but you know what it’s like.. you sit there looking at your one daily so any imperfection stands out lol. Thanks though, I’m really happy with it , it’s my first go at pond and koi 👍

The algae is part of the ecosystem/filtration so just clean the windows and leave it be. Adding rocks will certainly keep you busy when they are damaging themselves on them and plants are great but koi will trash them for sure. I'd be interested to hear how much your electricity bill is using that heater as they are not the most efficient and certainly do cost a bomb to run. Ponds looking fantastic buddy but the food choice is whack 6:28 .......get some research done over winter and understand why many gravitate to saki hikari 👍🏼

I wouldn’t bother with rocks because if they start flicking it will cause serious damage. Also plants are a waste of time, whatever I try in my pond they get destroyed within a day. Cracking pond though mate, get a cover on to save some money 👍
