Pond and koi are looking great and the 'mind your own business' on the shower looks like it's summer time. I'm like you in that I don't like walking unless I have my dog with me. If it wasn't for her I'd hardly ever get outside. Love some of the photos you showcased, very impressive. Hope you weren't too tired after the walk and were able to relax in front of the lovely fire. Aaah, proper winter, well not quite, 30 yrs ago used to be like this constantly from Nov - Mar, much prefer this to constant rain/drizzle, pond and fish looking fab Lau, roll on April 👍

Absolutely, same with the south of France. When it's cold, it's freezing cold but for longer which in a way, I prefer compare to the fluctuations which are definitely not food for our fish.

Wow Dave, 15 miles is a nice distance. Since I stopped playing basketball and been in England, exercice has been my 'ennemy' 😁 but I'll do my best. May be hiking one day and take pictures from the top of a mountain one day 😀 Yes, roll in spring and summer. Hope your koi are ok though.

@@LauMagroTheFrenchKOInection yes cum though winter fine still not feeding hope temperature gets warmer feeling sorry for them no food biggest is 70 cm got about 6 koi that size smallest is 28cm look after yourself keep up exercise as you no hard at first 👍👍

Un petit bonjour en français 😅 Décidément, le monde du Koï me fait rencontrer ou découvrir de chouettes personnes, je suis ravie d’avoir découvert tes vidéos. Ton bassin n’est pas le plus grand ni le plus technique mais il est né d’une vrai passion et ça se ressent dans tes vidéos. Trop de Koïs dans mon bassin… il y en a 12 pour 10m3☺️ Deux qui sont nés dans le bassin et irons chez ma sœur et un amis et encore une ou deux à donner. Je pensais pas que des poissons puissent rendre gaga 😊 Vivement ton agrandissement avec de chouettes vidéos 👍 c’est tellement mieux que le programme TV.

@@Revers76 je crois que l'on est tous coupable d avoir trop de Koi dans nos bassins.. 😁 mais avec suffisamment de filtration, ça peut aller. Oui vivement l agrandissement du bassin ici .. mais chaque chose dans son temps. J espère que les tiennes vont bien malgré les températures. Ici, dans le sud, c est un peu froid en ce moment mais bon... Le printemps n est pas loin 🤩

Especially when you spoke about little steps and little realistic goals. It's so easy to look at the number or weight or goal you want to achieve as a whole and get swamped by that fear that it will be too difficult, and that makes people give up. Because the task/goal is too big. So you have definitely helped me out to break it down a bit. So yes Keith, we can do it!

Hi Rafael, that's wonderful to hear, although not for the plants. A lot people take their plants out normally and put them in a dormant place with very little water and bring them back in spring. You might still be able to keep the roots unless they have died aswell. But covering the pond can help depending where you are in the country. In the South of England, it definitely helps as it's not as harsh as the north.

Thank you Terry. Much appreciated. Best way may be to contact SpringBank Koi and via messenger on Facebook as they haven't got a website. I use both products effectively, which works as all my problems have settled in the pond, but the problem is when you use several products, you re not too sure which ones works the best. But from what o can see, they are very similar, on paper they do the same thing, in practice both work. So I am happy to use both. But if you have the problems I have with the source water, I definitely recommend it.

Thank you Magnus. The white stuff is effectively a mixture of lime (very hard water here) and also the clay/pond detox Formula etc.. it's the residue of it.
